Yes, the American Psychological Association (APA) has come out with the 6th edition of its Publication Manual, but please do not enforce the new rules just yet. Please give the Writing Center time to study the changes and update their materials before you start enforcing the new rules in your Kaplan online classes.
A new Writer’s Handbook and updated APA materials will be out in 2010, but until then, please continue to use the 5th edition. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
